Privacy Policy

Blue Scheduler (bluescheduler.com) is run by Blue Notary LLC, 1908 Thomes Ave, STE 54656, Cheyenne, WY 82001 ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Blue Scheduler, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: support@bluescheduler.com.

What Blue Scheduler does

Blue Scheduler lets you write a post once and publish it to the social accounts you connect, right away or at a time you pick. We only act on your accounts when you tell us to.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address, used to sign you in and to send you sign-in links and service messages. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn, we get your email address from them and use it only for this.
• Connected accounts: for each social account you connect, its name, handle, profile picture, and the access keys the network gives us so we can post for you.
• Connection records: each time you connect an account, the time, your IP address, your country, your internet provider and your browser type, to trace a connection nobody recognizes. We delete these when you remove that account.
• Your content: the posts, drafts, photos and videos you create, the times you schedule, and the result of each post (sent or not, and a link to it).
• Branding you add: business name, logo, brand color and booking link.
• Post numbers: basic results the networks report for posts made through Blue Scheduler (for example views and likes), shown to you in Analytics.
• Billing: if you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card. We never see or store full card numbers.

Google and YouTube data

If you connect a YouTube channel or a Google Business Profile, we ask Google for these permissions, and use them only as described:

• See your YouTube channel (youtube.readonly): to show which channel is connected, to show you the results of videos you posted through Blue Scheduler, and to look up the public numbers and latest videos of channels you add under Analytics to compare with yours. We show those only to you, refresh them daily, and delete them when you remove the channel or disconnect YouTube, or if we couldn't refresh them for 30 days.
• Upload YouTube videos (youtube.upload): to upload the videos you choose, with the title and description you write, at the time you pick.
• See and manage comments on your YouTube videos (youtube.force-ssl): to show you the comments on your own channel's videos in your Inbox, send the replies you write, and hide a comment you choose by holding it for review (you can publish it again). We never delete your videos or comments.
• Manage your Business Profile (business.manage): to list your business locations so you can pick one, and to publish the updates you write to it.

We do not use Google data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not let people read it, except with your permission, for security, to comply with the law, or where it is needed to run the service and is kept private.

Google data gets the same protection as everything else, described under How we store and protect it. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and your Google access keys are encrypted a second time.

Blue Scheduler's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Blue Scheduler uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Blue Scheduler's access at any time from your Google account connections page, or by disconnecting the account in Blue Scheduler.

Pinterest data

If you connect Pinterest, we ask Pinterest for these permissions, and use them only as described:

• See your account (user_accounts:read): to show which Pinterest account is connected and its follower count.
• See your boards (boards:read): to list your boards so you can pick the one your pins go to.
• Create a board (boards:write): only if you have no boards yet, we make one named "Blue Scheduler" for your pins. We never change or delete your boards.
• See and create pins (pins:read, pins:write): to create the pins you write, on the board you picked, at the time you pick, and to show you their results.

We store only your Pinterest username, display name, profile picture, the board you picked, and encrypted access keys. We do not copy your other pins or boards, we do not sell Pinterest data, and we do not use it for advertising. You can remove Blue Scheduler's access at any time from your Pinterest settings (Security and logins, Apps) or by disconnecting the account in Blue Scheduler.

TikTok data

If you connect a TikTok account, we ask TikTok for these permissions, and use them only as described:

• See your account: to show which TikTok account is connected, using its username, display name, profile picture and follower count, and to check what it allows (comments, Duet, Stitch, longest video).
• Post videos (video.publish): to publish the video you choose, with the caption and settings you pick, when you press Post now or at the time you schedule. Posts go out public. TikTok picks up the video from a private link on bluescheduler.com that stops working after 24 hours.
• See how a post went: to show you whether TikTok posted your video, with a link to it, or TikTok's reason if it failed.
• Read and manage comments (comment.list, comment.list.manage): to show you the comments and replies on videos you posted through Blue Scheduler in your Inbox, send the replies you write, and hide or unhide a comment you choose. We never delete your videos or comments.

We store your TikTok account ID, username, display name, profile picture, follower count, and encrypted access keys. For your Inbox we also keep the comments on videos you posted through Blue Scheduler, with each commenter's TikTok name, username and profile picture. Only the Blue Scheduler account that connected the TikTok account can see them, and we delete them when you disconnect it. We do not read your other videos, we do not sell TikTok data, and we do not use it for advertising. You can remove Blue Scheduler's access at any time from your TikTok settings or by disconnecting the account in Blue Scheduler.

LinkedIn data

If you connect a LinkedIn Page or profile, we ask LinkedIn for these permissions, and use them only as described:

• Post for your Page (w_organization_social): to publish the posts you write, at the time you pick.
• See your Pages and their numbers (rw_organization_admin): to list the Pages you run so you can pick which to connect, to show you the name, logo and follower count of other public Pages you add under Analytics to compare with yours, and to show you each Page's name, logo and follower count, and the likes, comments, reposts, views and clicks on posts you sent through Blue Scheduler. We never change your Page's settings.
• Read comments (r_organization_social_feed): to show you the comments on those posts in your Inbox.
• See commenters' names (r_basicprofile): to show the name of each person who commented, when their LinkedIn settings allow it. If they don't, we show "LinkedIn member".
• Answer comments (w_organization_social_feed): to post the replies you write, as your Page.
• Your profile (openid, profile, email, w_member_social): to sign you in if you choose LinkedIn, and to publish the posts you write to your own profile.

A comment from another LinkedIn member stays in Blue Scheduler for 48 hours and is then deleted. We read that member's name fresh from LinkedIn while the comment is here, and we don't keep anything else from their profile. Only the Blue Scheduler account that connected the Page can see these comments. We don't export them, combine them with other data, use them for advertising, sales or recruiting, or send them or your Page's numbers to AI tools, including an AI assistant you connect to Blue Scheduler. You can remove Blue Scheduler's access at any time from your LinkedIn settings (Data privacy, Permitted services) or by disconnecting the account in Blue Scheduler.

Bluesky data

If you connect Bluesky, you give us your handle and an app password you make in Bluesky's settings, never your main password. We use them only as described:

• See your account: to show which Bluesky account is connected, using its handle, display name, profile picture and follower count.
• Post: to publish the posts and photos you write, when you press Post now or at the time you schedule, and to show you their likes, replies and reposts.
• Read replies and mentions: to show you replies to your posts and posts that mention you in your Inbox. We store each one's text, photo link and time, and the name, handle and profile picture of the person who wrote it, only to show them to you.
• Answer them: to post the replies you write, as your account.
• Compare accounts: to look up the public numbers and latest posts of Bluesky accounts you add under Analytics. We show those only to you, and delete them when you remove that account from Analytics or delete your Blue Scheduler account.

Your app password is encrypted before we store it. We do not read your direct messages, we do not sell Bluesky data, and we do not use it for advertising. When you disconnect the account, we delete its app password and its Inbox items right away. You can remove Blue Scheduler's access at any time by disconnecting the account in Blue Scheduler, or by deleting the app password in Bluesky (Settings, Privacy and security, App passwords).

Facebook, Instagram and Threads data

If you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account or a Threads profile, we ask Meta for these permissions, and use them only as described:

• See your Pages (pages_show_list, business_management): to list the Pages you manage, including Pages in your business portfolio, so you can pick where posts go.
• Post to your Pages (pages_manage_posts): to publish the posts, photos and videos you write, at the time you pick.
• Read your Page's engagement (pages_read_engagement): to show you your Page's follower count.
• Read reactions and comments on your posts (pages_read_user_content): to count the reactions, comments and shares on posts you made through Blue Scheduler, shown only to you in Analytics, and to show you the comments on those posts in your Inbox.
• Read and answer your Page's messages (pages_messaging): to show you your Page's Messenger conversations from the last 14 days in your Inbox, and send the replies you write. We store these messages only to show them to you, and delete them when you disconnect the Page or delete your account.
• Answer, hide and delete comments on your Page (pages_manage_engagement): to post the replies you write to comments on your posts, and hide, unhide or delete a comment when you choose.
• Get new messages and comments right away (pages_manage_metadata): to ask Facebook to tell Blue Scheduler when your Page gets a new message or comment, so it shows up in your Inbox right away. We use it only for that and do not change your Page's settings.
• Your Page post numbers (read_insights): to show you the reach and views of posts you made through Blue Scheduler, only to you in Analytics.
• Replies within 7 days (Human Agent): so you can answer a Messenger message yourself up to 7 days after the person wrote. Only replies you type and send are sent.
• Instagram (instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_content_publish): to show which account is connected, publish the photos and videos you choose, and show you their likes and comments.
• Instagram messages (instagram_business_manage_messages): to show you your Instagram direct messages from the last 14 days in your Inbox, and send the replies you write. We store these messages only to show them to you, and delete them when you disconnect the account or delete your account.
• Your Page's Instagram account (instagram_basic): to see which Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page you connect. We use that account to send your Instagram replies after 24 hours, to show you posts that tag you, and for the Research page.
• Instagram replies within 7 days (instagram_manage_messages): so you can answer an Instagram message yourself up to 7 days after the person wrote, through the Facebook Page linked to that account. Only replies you type and send are sent.
• Instagram comments (instagram_business_manage_comments): to show you comments on posts you made through Blue Scheduler in your Inbox, post the replies you write, and hide, unhide or delete a comment when you choose. We store them only to show them to you, and delete them when you disconnect the account or delete your account.
• Instagram post numbers (instagram_business_manage_insights): to show you the reach, views, saves and shares of posts you made through Blue Scheduler, only to you in Analytics.
• Mention other Pages (Page Mentioning): to tag the Facebook Pages you choose in your Page posts. We look up only the Page you name, and keep only its ID and name with your post.
• Post previews (Meta oEmbed, which needs no token or permission): to show you a post you made through Blue Scheduler the way Facebook, Instagram or Threads shows it, using Meta's own embed. We load it fresh each time you open it and don't keep it.
• Threads (threads_basic, threads_content_publish): to show which profile is connected and publish the posts you write.
• Threads replies (threads_read_replies): to show you replies to posts you made through Blue Scheduler in your Inbox. We store them only to show them to you, and delete them when you disconnect the profile or delete your account.
• Answer and hide Threads replies (threads_manage_replies): to post the replies you write, and hide or unhide a reply when you choose.
• Threads numbers (threads_manage_insights): to show you the views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares of posts you made through Blue Scheduler, and your follower count, only to you in Analytics.
• Delete Threads posts (threads_delete): to take a post you made through Blue Scheduler down from Threads, only when you choose to.
• Threads mentions (threads_manage_mentions): to show you posts that mention your profile in your Inbox so you can reply. We store them only to show them to you, and delete them when you disconnect the profile or delete your account.
• Threads search (threads_keyword_search): to show you public Threads posts for a keyword you search for on the Research page. We don't store the results.
• Threads profiles (threads_profile_discovery): to show you the public profile and recent posts of a Threads account you add on the Research page to compare your posts with. We keep them only to show them to you, until you remove the profile or disconnect Threads. You can also add them, and see them, under Analytics.
• Threads locations (threads_location_tagging): to find the place you search for and add it to the Threads post you write.
• Instagram tags and mentions (instagram_business_manage_comments): to show you posts that tag your account and posts or comments that mention it in your Inbox, and post the replies you write to a mention. We store them only to show them to you, and delete them when you disconnect the account or delete your account.
• Instagram competitors (instagram_manage_insights): to look up the public Instagram business and creator accounts you add on the Research page and show you their public numbers and latest posts, only to you. We keep them, with small copies of their post pictures, until you remove the account or disconnect Facebook, and for a year at most. You can also add them, and see them, under Analytics.
• Instagram hashtags (Instagram Public Content Access): to show you public posts that use a hashtag you search for on the Research page, only to you. We only search the hashtags you type.
• Who wrote to you (Business Asset User Profile Access): to show the name and profile picture of people who message your Facebook Page or Instagram account in your Inbox, only to you. We keep them with that conversation and delete them when you disconnect the account or delete your account.

We do not sell Meta data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else, except an AI assistant you choose to connect yourself (see "Who we share it with"). You can remove Blue Scheduler at any time in your Facebook, Instagram or Threads settings (Apps and websites), or by disconnecting the account in Blue Scheduler. See how to delete your data.

How we use your information

• To publish and schedule the posts you create, to the accounts you pick.
• To show you your calendar, your post history and your post results.
• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To answer you when you contact us.

If you take a discount offered to BlueNotary customers, we may compare your email with BlueNotary's customer records to confirm you're a customer. If you share a post link to get that discount, we read that public post and have an AI tool check that it mentions Blue Scheduler.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your posts or connected-account data to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run Blue Scheduler, and only for that purpose:

• The social networks you connect, which receive the posts you send to them.
• Cloudflare, which hosts Blue Scheduler and stores its data.
• Brevo, which delivers our sign-in emails.
• Our payment processor, if you subscribe.
• An AI assistant you connect yourself (for example Claude or ChatGPT), only if you link it under Connect AI / MCP. It can then read your own posts, results and Inbox messages when you ask it to. You can remove it at any time under AI assistants.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How we store and protect it

Your data is stored with Cloudflare. We protect it like this:

• Everything between your browser, Blue Scheduler and the networks travels over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Plain http addresses are sent to https.
• Cloudflare encrypts all our stored data at rest with AES-256, including our database and the photos and videos you upload.
• The access keys for your connected accounts, including Google and YouTube, are encrypted a second time (AES-GCM) before they are stored. The key that unlocks them is kept apart from the database, so a copy of the database alone can't reach your accounts.
• We never store sign-in links or session codes in readable form, only a one-way hash. Passwords, for the few accounts that have one, are stored as a salted PBKDF2 hash. Our sign-in cookie can't be read by scripts on the page and is only sent over HTTPS.
• Each person sees only their own data. Only the Blue Notary LLC staff who run Blue Scheduler can reach our systems, and only to run, support or secure the service.
• We keep Google user data only as long as we need it to run the service. When you disconnect YouTube we delete its access keys right away.
• If a security breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

We keep your data while your account is open, except where this page gives a shorter time.

We keep your videos for as long as you're on a paid plan. If you cancel, we delete them within 30 days after your paid plan ends. On the Free plan we keep each video for 24 hours after you upload it. Either way, a video stays longer while a draft or a post that hasn't gone out uses it, and for 24 hours after a post that uses it goes out. Posts already on your social accounts stay there. Videos over 95 MB, such as long-form YouTube videos, are deleted from Blue Scheduler 24 hours after they post, since the network has its own copy. If no draft or scheduled post uses one, we delete it 7 days after you upload it, or 7 days after its post failed.

Deleting your data

• Disconnect an account under Social accounts: we delete its access keys right away.
• Delete your Blue Scheduler account: email support@bluescheduler.com from the address you sign in with. We delete your account and everything in it within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
• Remove Blue Scheduler from Facebook, Instagram or Threads: we delete that account's connection and access keys as soon as Meta tells us. Step by step: Data deletion.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts.

Children

Blue Scheduler is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top, and tell you by email if the change is significant.
